INGREDIENTS: Egg Shell
INSTRUCTIONS: First, take a whole egg and crack it (emptying the contents) so
all thats left is the shell. Stick the inside/wet side of the shell onto the
splinter for a few minutes and the splinter will work its way far enough out
till you can just pick it right out. Its really easy and it works!

INGREDIENTS: Castor Oil.
INSTRUCTIONS: Just rub some castor oil onto the area where the splinter is,
cover it with a band aid and go to bed.
Because castor oil has drawing properties, when you take the band aid off the
next morning the splinter will have risen to the surface of the skin and it
will eitherjust come right out or if it was a bit deeper you might need the
tweezers. But so far I've never had to use the tweezers they have just popped
out with a bit of a squeeze.

INGREDIENTS: bandaid
small piece of bacon fat
INSTRUCTIONS: My grandmother used this method to remove splinters and it worked
every time. Before going to bed at night, take a very small piece of bacon fat
and a bandaid. Place the bacon fat on top of the splinter and cover with a bandaid.
In the morning the splinter will have risen to the top and can be removed. (If
the splinter is completely embedded under the skin you will need to put a small
prick in the skin above the splinter with a clean needle before covering with
the bacon fat.) Wash the area well once you've removed the splinter. This remedy
never failed to remove even the toughest of splinters.

NAME_OF_REMEDY: Splinters, small shards of glass hard to remove, etc
INGREDIENTS: 1 small piece of raw fatty meat (bacon, salt pork, etc)
Salt
white piece of cloth
INSTRUCTIONS: Take the piece of raw fatty meat, salt it REALLY well, place it
directly on the place that needs the splinter, glass, etc drawn out. Cover with
a WHITE cloth and leave overnight. If the splinter or glass has not been drawn
to the surface, repeat the next night.Just stay away from dogs or such while
using this!!! My daughter had
stepped on some glass shards, I took her to the doctor and he set and picked
out as many as he could with tweezers. He couldn't get them all, the next day
she was still limping. That night I applied the salty fatty meat and covered
it with the white cloth. The next morning when I removed the cloth and meat,
the glass had been "drawn" to the surface and I just plucked them
off with tweezers. I am very convinced that thisold rememdy that was passed
down to me from my Mom who grew up in the mountains of Kentucky actually works.

Ingredients: Bar soap
Sewing needle
Instructions: Wet a bar
of soap well, and rub the sharp end of the sewing needle in it, so that the
needle has a liberal coating of soap. Then, rub the soapy needle in the opposite
direction that the splinter went
in, like you are trying to draw it out. As soon as the splinter has some soap
in there, squeeze it, and it should come right out. Thank you to Mrs. Thomasz,
my first grade teacher for showing me this, it is painless, and good for children.

Name of Remedy: Removal of Glass & Splinters
Ingredients: Hydrogen Peroxide
Instructions: This works great. I had a tiny piece of glass in my foot
for months that I kept trying to get out & couldn't for the life of me.So
a friend of mine told me to try Peroxide. I poured it on my footwhere the glass
was, and within minutes the glass was laying on theoutside of my foot where
it had went in. I have tried this for splinters thatI couldn't get out &
it worked for me for those too.

Ingredients: Take one clean needle or sharp blade.
First, dowse area with hydrogen peroxide. Most times, the splinter will fizz
right out of it's place, but the area will be clean, should you need to scrape
gently with the needle
You place a piece of duct
tape over the splinter and leave on for a half hour. Then slowly peel away.
The splinter will come off on the tape.
