Students can do a variety of projects which involve use of or contributionto the World Wide Web, including:
 

 

Through using WWW, students can develop and build many language andlife  skills:

                                •thinking critically
                                •using vocabulary
                                •reading/writing
                                •skimming/scanning
                                •paraphrasing/summarizing/quoting

Before you get started using WWW in the classroom, be sure to considerthe following:

  1. Teach your students how to use a browser;
  2. Decide which terminology to teach your students;
  3. Teach your students how to use HTML (if creating Web pages);
  4. Illustrate the pedagogical point of your Web activities.
